About UKguests

UKguests are one of London's leading established Limited companies who are committed to offering students & visitors a first class host family accommodation service. Through much research and our personal experience of hosting international students, we are aware of the needs and preferences of the students that come to London to study and the importance of their homestay environment. We take great care when placing our guests with our English families who love to share their culture & home with our overseas guests. We endeavour to provide a service to students/visitors that is second to none.

Our Team

Mary Edwards

UKguests was borne from the idea of the Proprietor and the Company Director (Mary Edwards) who has had over 10 years experience of managing and hosting International students and visitors in her home. As a mother herself she understood the needs and concerns of parents worldwide who wanted to ensure that their children whilst in London are placed in a caring, quality, and safe environment. As a result of her passion, enthusiasm and knowledge gained through hosting Mary formed UKguests.

Chanel

Chanel has several years' experience in the Accounting & Finance and Customer Service industry. She is currently in her final year of her degree at the University of East London. Chanel is also well travelled and has experienced staying with a number of host families herself. She too hosts international students at her place of residence and her wealth of experience with International students both here and abroad, places her in the unique position that best understands the importance of a quality homestay environment.

Jeremias

Jeremias comes from a Filipino background. He was born and raised in Madrid and came to the UK at a young age. He has since completed his BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance. He has had several years' experience of working in a sales/finance. He is responsible for the Sales and bookkeeping at UKguests.

Mouna

Mouna was born in France and has a Moroccan background. She came to the UK to accomplish her studies and completed her MSc in International Business and Management. Mouna is an administration assistant at UKguests.

Tom

Tom comes from an Irish background and is very experienced in management and customer services. Tom has a wealth of experience in working with overseas students. He is responsible for ensuring that all Homestay accommodation meets the Bed & Breakfast Homestay Association (BBHA) required standards.

All of our staff has a wealth of experience with international students and collectively, we speak a number of languages which include Spanish, French, Turkish, Tagalog and of course English. We continuously work together to improve our service delivery to our international clients and host families by focusing on their specific and individual needs.
