Becoming a Host with UKguests

Thanks for taking time out to view our Host Family page. I guess you have thought about the possibility of unlocking the door to your spare room and how to host our International students/guests? Well look no further. UKguests can help you to earn an additional weekly income for that holiday or special occasion.

UKguests are currently looking for experienced and new host families in North, South East & West of London to host our International students and visitors who come to London each year.

What is Homestay?

Homestay is a living arrangement where a family offers a student/guest a private room in their home for short period of time. This is typically from one week to three month depending on the nature of the visit to London. Some guests choose to stay for a longer period of time which may sometimes extend for up to a year. Long-term guests are usually in London completing a degree, on a work internship or studying an intense English language course.

Homestay accommodation is generally requested by English language schools & Universities who offer their International students a package of English language lessons and UK homestay families as this helps to improve their English. In addition, they also have the opportunity to experience the British way of life and form new friendships between hosts and other guests often for many years to come.
